Blythe
Blythe is a residential interior design for a 4,800 square foot house built in the 1970s. The original structural framework was retained, while the layout was reorganized to balance shared areas and private rooms for a family of four. Arched doors and glass windows bring natural light into the interior. Custom carpentry turns former niches into storage, including a pull-out tray cabinet in the kitchen. Corvidae stone, glass and brass details create a warm and timeless character, intended to remain functional for many years.
Blythe Residential House by Berinda Soh was recognized as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Blythe Residential House earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design prize which honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
