Technology Museum
Technology Museum is the interior design of the new building of the Henan Science and Technology Museum in Zhengzhou, China. The interior covers the atrium, corridors and other public areas. Prefabricated concrete corrugated panels and anodized curved aluminum plates form the walls and ceilings, fixed with dry hanging technology on hot-dip galvanized steel keels. Irregular surfaces were measured with a total station and modeled in three dimensions, which allowed accurate layout and factory production. The interior supports the display of science and technology to the public.
Technology Museum Exhibition Hall by Wu Zhigang has been highlighted as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Technology Museum Exhibition Hall earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2025. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
