Fairy Tale Travel
Fairy Tale Travel is a series of textbooks designed for elementary school students in Korea. The books use a fairy tale concept to give consistency to the whole series and to make learning enjoyable. Character guides appear in each textbook and lead students through the lessons. Warm colours, hand drawn illustrations, soft typography and curved shapes create a friendly look. Each grade and semester has a different main colour, so materials are easy to find. The covers use holographic printing, and antimicrobial film coating and ink are applied for safer use.
Fairy Tale Travel Textbook by Mirae-N Design Team has been selected as an exceptional example of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Fairy Tale Travel Textbook received the Silver A' Design Award in Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design in 2025. The A' Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which honors outstanding design of textbooks, E-Learning platforms, educational games, training manuals, instructional videos, interactive whiteboards, educational software, lesson plans and more.
