Funny Eye Macau Sparkling
Funny Eye Macau Sparkling is a drink packaging design for a beverage brand from Macau. The packaging covers a line of three flavours, and each flavour has its own colour palette. The graphics are inspired by the Ruins of St. Paul's in Macau. Curved, circular and rectangular shapes taken from the columns and windows of the monument are simplified and recomposed. A playful gaze motif drawn from the work of the Italian artist Tullio Garbari is added. The product names use a custom bold typeface with large letters and wide spacing. Each can measures 65 mm in diameter and 120 mm in height.
Funny Eye Macau Sparkling Drink Packaging by Chunyang Wang was identified as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Funny Eye Macau Sparkling Drink Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2025. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
