Wakin Chau
Wakin Chau is a concert stage design created for a world tour completed in 2024. The stage works in two parts. In the first part, six curtains of fire-resistant gray fabric hide the LED screens and the band, while ink-wash projections form a misty mountain scene. Each curtain weighs about 100 kilograms and reaches a height of 1,336 centimeters, so strong mechanical systems lift the fabric quickly. In the second part, the curtains retract and three LED screens create a modern atmosphere for the audience.
Wakin Chau World Tour by B’IN LIVE CO., LTD. has been selected as a grand example of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Wakin Chau World Tour received the Bronze A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2025. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that celebrates exceptional design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
