LS Twin Stars
Ls Twin Stars is a reception center completed in Taiwan in June 2024. The design is based on the theme of home protection. Layered shield shapes form the facade and give the building the appearance of a fortress. The exterior uses wood wool cement boards with flexible polyurethane coatings, which allow expansion and contraction in a seismic environment. Metal lacquer gives the outer walls a semi-reflective finish. Inside, curved concentric walls radiate from a central model display area. Wood veneer and stone veneer create a warm and stable atmosphere.
LS Twin Stars Reception Center by UP Town New Interior Design has been highlighted as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. LS Twin Stars Reception Center was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2025. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which celebrates outstanding design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
