Selena
Selena is a chair made of Jequitiba wood and natural straw. The frame is shaped by detailed CNC machining, which creates smooth and continuous surfaces without visible joints. Artisanal work completes the assembly and the fixing of the straw. The straw runs from the backrest to the seat, forming a continuous element that adds visual lightness to a monolithic volume. A water-based finish is used to reduce environmental impact. Selena combines a minimalist appearance with a robust structure intended to last for generations.
Selena Multifunctional Chair by MORADA DECOR was highlighted as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Selena Multifunctional Chair received the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2025. The A' Furniture Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
