Gothic Delicacy
Gothic Delicacy is a macaron designed around a Gothic visual theme. The shells are black, colored with food-grade activated charcoal, and made from finely ground almond flour, confectioner's sugar and aged egg whites. Sharp almond pieces and bronze-toned peaks form the decoration, giving the small dessert a dramatic appearance. The concept was first developed with an artificial intelligence image platform and then produced by hand. Each macaron is held in place inside a matte black box, which protects the shape and the surface until the box is opened.
Gothic Delicacy Cookie by Icy Design Oy has been identified as an exceptional illustration of strategy design by the A' Design Awards. Gothic Delicacy Cookie received the Iron A' Design Award in Generative, Algorithmic, Parametric and AI-Assisted Design in 2024.
