By designing the Mixed Reality interface in the Apple VisionPro, The Palace Museum Interactive Experience, represents a pioneering approach by introducing new ways to display exhibits in heritage museums. This method not only balances preserving cultural artifacts with digital interaction but also sets a pioneering example for heritage museums worldwide.

Mukden Palace Experience Mixed Reality Interface by Jiayi Chen was featured as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Mukden Palace Experience Mixed Reality Interface was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design in 2024. The A' Interface, Interaction and User Experience Design Award is a highly prestigious international design recognition program that honors excellent design of websites, mobile applications, software interfaces, game interfaces, wearable interfaces, virtual reality interfaces, augmented reality interfaces, dashboard designs and more.
