Popticals
Popticals is a collection of collapsible sunglasses designed for active use. The frames contain a patented micro rail system that lets the lenses slide parallel to each other, so the sunglasses fold into a compact size for storage. The lenses are made of NYDEF nylon and offer clarity, impact resistance and protection from ultraviolet light. The frames are made of Grilamid TR90 for flexibility and comfort. Stainless steel pins and a magnet hold the two halves together in a secure position during wear.
Popticals Sunglasses by Popticals has been highlighted as an innovative representation of strategy design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Popticals Sunglasses received the Bronze A' Design Award in Eyewear Design in 2024. The A' Eyewear Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which recognizes superior design of sunglasses, prescription glasses, reading glasses, safety glasses, sports goggles, swim goggles, fashion eyewear, contact lenses and more.
