Sparkling Ripples
This artwork creates a dynamic visual effect using colored glass mosaic and stainless steel to depict the spreading ripples of water. The mirrored stainless steel ripples, influenced by light reflections and wind-induced vibrations, break through spatial boundaries. They intersect with the colored glass mosaic on the wall and floor, resulting in a captivating play of light and shadow. Symbolically, this piece represents the continuous dissemination of knowledge in a joyful and positive campus environment, guiding students toward a vibrant, diverse, and hopeful future.
Sparkling Ripples Public Art by Kuo Kuo-Hsiang was recognized as a creative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Sparkling Ripples Public Art won the Iron A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2024.
