Woyun Platform
The Woyun Platform is the entrance exhibition center of the Giant Panda National Park, taking the geological features of local bamboo forests, mists, and glacier debris as architectural imageries. The bamboo forest on the ground floor is used as a rural living room, which is a feedback to the surrounding villages; the suspended mists in the middle is used as a cultural display space; the debris on the top is used as a leisure space.
Woyun Platform Public Building by Archermit has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Woyun Platform Public Building was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2024. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
