The Dome
The design takes its inspirations from the unique blend of Greek, Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman architectures. The Dome ring, as unique in its design that it is a modern interpretation of famous Domes of Hagia Sophia. The design is an outcome of the Phd research that Fatma Altinbas had held in Grand Bazaar for 2 years, about the history of jewellery manufacturing in the area. The Dome ring is crafted from 18-carat rose gold and adorned with a total of 0.22 carats of G color, VS1 clarity diamonds, both on the inside and outside.
The Dome Ring by MEVARIS DESIGN AND ART GALLERY was highlighted as a grand example of fashion design by the A' Design Award. The Dome Ring won the Golden A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2024. The A' Jewelry Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which rewards exceptional design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
