Beijing Wangfujing Xiyue
Beijing Wangfujing Xiyue is a shopping mall interior covering 19,800 square meters in the central area of Beijing. The design joins traditional Chinese architecture with futuristic elements. Upturned eaves, roof ridge beasts, dougong brackets and caisson ceilings shape the framework, while metal alloys give strength and durability. Three themed points, Yuanshi Kou, Sundial Square and Qiankun Fang, mark the atriums. The first basement floor holds dining and the second holds retail. Light color temperature and brightness are controlled to create varied atmospheres.
Beijing Wangfujing Xiyue Shopping Mall by Xiagushuyu Commercial Space Design has been identified as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Beijing Wangfujing Xiyue Shopping Mall won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition that rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
