Shan Ling 3 Shoes
Shan Ling 3 is a limited edition packaging box that holds shoes, clothing and accessories for a sports team set. The triangular form differs from common rectangular boxes and lets all items lie flat inside. One box fits shoe sizes from 31 to 43, and the clothing is rolled to prevent wrinkles during transport. Environmentally friendly materials are used, and the reduced volume and weight lower material use and logistics costs. The graphics draw on Chinese calligraphy and on the legend of the carp leaping over the dragon gate, using fish, gate and water as core elements.
Shan Ling 3 Shoes Packaging by Xusong Wang has been identified as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Shan Ling 3 Shoes Packaging received the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which honors excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
