Modelhane
Modelhane is an office interior that also contains a handbag production workshop. The space is open and uncluttered, with minimal partitions, so the production process can flow without interruption. Bricks with varying geometries form separators that mark the different programs. A semi-permeable material divides the workstations from the cutting room and creates a silhouette effect. The interior is arranged around three main areas: a meeting room with a display area, the workstations and the cutting room. Light colors are used, so the bags provide the only color.
Modelhane Office by Podna Architects has been recognized as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Modelhane Office was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
