Fuyao
Fuyao is a multifunctional reclining chair designed for older users. The backrest and seat cushion tilt synchronously to follow the curve of the spine. A pneumatically adjustable footrest relieves leg fatigue, while a three way adjustable headrest and sliding armrests allow personal settings. Adjusting the angle of the backrest and cushion also helps users to stand up with less effort. A magnetisable headrest simplifies adjustment, and a rubber base cushion reduces noise and prevents slipping. Lines drawn from Chinese calligraphy shape the outline.
Fuyao Chair by Mlesun Furniture Technology Co., Ltd has been highlighted as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Fuyao Chair was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2024. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
