Ling Lie Vodka
Ling Lie Vodka is a bottle packaging design created for a white spirit produced in Qionglai, Sichuan. The form is inspired by the Xiling Snow Mountains, where the raw materials originate. A corrugated texture recalls rock surfaces and Chinese ink painting. The bottle is made of highly translucent crystalline white glass, with a screen printed cap and a label finished with gold and silver stamping on environmentally friendly paper. Slim curved lines improve grip, and the slender neck limits the air entering the bottle, so the spirit can be stored and served several times.
Ling Lie Vodka Packaging by Laizhou Distillery has been highlighted as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Ling Lie Vodka Packaging was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which honors exceptional design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
