Field Ode
Field Ode is the interior design of a hotpot restaurant in Tainan City, Taiwan. The multi-level space covers about 212 square meters and is arranged in the manner of a modern art gallery. Three elements guide the design: sunlight, air and water. Daylight enters through double-sided windows, plant spheres represent air, and titanium coated ripple panels suggest an underwater dining scene. Wave-like canopies of folded perforated panels shape the second floor. Eco-friendly materials create a calm grayscale ambiance.
Field Ode Restaurant by Dado Interior Design has been identified as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Field Ode Restaurant earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
