Mushroom
Mushroom is a ceramic bowl designed for feeding pets. The height, shape and depth of the bowl follow the physiology and eating habits of pets, so meals are easy to reach. The inwardly curved rim keeps food and water inside the bowl and helps the feeding area stay clean. The bowl is made in shallow and deep forms, which allows dry and wet food to be separated. Each piece is polished by hand, then glazed and fired with traditional pottery methods. The underglaze finish seals the color and supports food safety. The outline recalls the form of a mushroom.
Mushroom Pet Bowl by Chen Liang was featured as a grand illustration of product design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mushroom Pet Bowl earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Pet Care, Toys, Supplies and Products for Animals Design in 2024.
