Built by Action
This work combines a series of technologies such as display props, somatosensory interaction and laser induction to realize data visualization and behavior perception. The periphery of the device consists of four interaction nodes, namely, bath, travel, work and meal. The inside of the installation shows the phenomenon of environmental changes corresponding to such behaviors. The author wants to make people aware of the damage to the environment caused by certain behaviors and push people to protect environment through this work.
Built by Action Composite Display Props by Wang Hongyin was featured as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Built by Action Composite Display Props earned the Iron A' Design Award in Installation Design in 2024. The A' Interactive, Experiential and Immersive Design Installations Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of sculptural installations, light installations, sound installations, digital installations, kinetic installations, Site-Specific installations, interactive installations, performance installations and more.
