Shape Care
Shape Care is an instrument that can meet the fitness needs of home exercisers. The design team found that most users focus on the training of hands, legs, abdomen and chest. After studying the Shape and principle of the fitness device, the design team determined three forms, which can be used as barbell by users in the original state. By bending it, it exercises the user's chest and legs. When disassembled into monomers, each monomer can be used as a dumbbell to exercise the arm, and when reassembled it can be used as an abdominal muscle wheel to exercise the abdominal muscles.
Shape Care Multifunctional Fitness Device by Yating Yang was highlighted as an outstanding representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Shape Care Multifunctional Fitness Device received the Bronze A' Design Award in Sporting Goods, Fitness and Recreation Equipment Design in 2024. The A' Sporting Goods, Fitness and Recreation Equipment Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that honors superior design of basketballs, tennis rackets, yoga mats, running shoes, dumbbells, bicycles, boxing gloves, swim goggles and more.
