Luxury Taste
Luxury Taste is a residential interior design created for a family of three in an apartment of 191.7 square meters in Taiwan. The neo-classical scheme is renewed with color, using lake blue, mauve and Prussian blue in place of the usual white and gold. One partition was removed to form an open living and dining area, and tiles with different patterns and colors define each zone. Materials include wallpaper, titanium-plated metal, marble and trims. Customized cabinetry and a hidden hallway support daily comfort.
Luxury Taste Residence by HUANG-SHIH CHU was recognized as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Luxury Taste Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
