Warm Gift
Warm Gift is a residential interior design for a penthouse apartment in Taiwan. The home covers 185.1 square meters and contains three bedrooms, a living room, a dining room and four bathrooms. The design combines French and Wabi-sabi styles through curves, symmetry and a creamy white tone with gold details. A large oval ceiling conceals the beams of the living room and holds linear lights and air vents. Materials include mineral paint, slab tiles, tawny glass and herringbone laminate flooring. The layout is planned for one resident and a pet.
Warm Gift Residence by Xingshi Design has been highlighted as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Warm Gift Residence won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition that rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
