Silver Wings
Silver Wings is a desk lamp designed to protect the eyes of children. A curved light source 63 centimetres long illuminates a desk width of 1.6 metres, reducing differences in brightness across the surface. Two light wings can be folded downwards so that the light beams overlap, which reduces hand shadows during writing. A micro-surface diffusion panel spreads the light in several directions for even illumination. A knob and a screen control the brightness, the colour temperature and the timer functions.
Silver Wings Lamp by Two square meters has been selected as a creative example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Silver Wings Lamp was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2024. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which recognizes outstanding design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
