Tokyo Giants
Tokyo Giants Season Visuals is a series of photographic posters created for a professional baseball team in Japan. The visuals combine two photographs arranged as continuous scenes, so that still images express the drama of baseball in the manner of a film. The player photographs capture joy, anger and sadness, and are taken from high and unusual angles. The season concept marks the 89th anniversary of the team, as the number 89 means baseball in Japanese. A joint visual of the men's and women's teams expresses the spirit of diversity.
Tokyo Giants Advertisement by SonyMusic Solutions inc. was selected as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Tokyo Giants Advertisement received the Bronze A' Design Award in Photography and Photo Manipulation Design in 2024. The A' Photography and Photo Manipulation Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which honors superior design of portraits, landscapes, still lifes, photojournalism, fashion shots, architectural images, wildlife captures, sports events and more.
