Move
Move is a residential interior design completed in Taoyuan, Taiwan, covering 132 square meters. White is the dominant color, combined with black, gray and dark wooden textures. Curved forms soften the hard square lines of the rooms, and the rounded edges of the wall cabinets reduce the risk of collision when children play. A curved ceiling conceals the exposed pipes of the original property, and a recessed compartment in the living room ceiling stores the projector screen. Italian paint on the walls resists dirt, mildew and cracking.
Move Residential by Chiao Chun Lin has been featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Move Residential earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2024. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which rewards outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
