Virtual and Reality

Virtual and Reality is a visual image design exhibition that interprets the process of design creation. The title joins two opposite words to reflect the conflict between abstraction and reality. Font strokes are dismantled, and the tools used in design form the structure of the letters. The series includes posters, cards, notebooks, stationery, direct mail and packaging. All items are printed in two special colors, and the applied methods include embossing, local glazing and origami folding. The exhibition was shown in Tainan, Taipei and Kaohsiung.

Virtual and Reality Visual Image Design Exhibition by TANG-HSUAN LIEN was highlighted as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Virtual and Reality Visual Image Design Exhibition received the Silver A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2023. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which rewards superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
