Harbin Imperial Lake
Harbin Imperial Lake is the interior design of a sales center covering 1100 square meters. The layout follows the crescent moon shape of the building, and the reception desk and the water bar are joined into one long curve. A warm wood wall with scale patterns recalls fish leaping on a lake. Large windows open the rooms to the surrounding landscape. Natural wood veneer, cane, water-based art coating, stone, metal and glass mirror form a simple material palette. The interior is intended to offer visitors a calm and natural atmosphere.
Harbin Imperial Lake Sales Center by Wei Luo has been featured as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Harbin Imperial Lake Sales Center was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which rewards superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
