Endless Scenery
Endless Scenery is a series of city posters based on the ten scenes of West Lake in Hangzhou, China. The posters depict well known views such as Three Pools Mirroring the Moon and Curved Yard and Lotus Pool in Summer. Each image combines artificial intelligence painting with the classical Chinese watercolour style. The base images were generated with an AI painting tool and then refined in image editing software. Different colour tones express the character of each landscape. The posters can also be applied to stamps, publications, print advertisements and packaging.
Endless Scenery City Poster by Zhou Leijing was featured as a grand example of strategy design by the A' Design Award. Endless Scenery City Poster was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Generative, Algorithmic, Parametric and AI-Assisted Design in 2023. The A' Generative, Algorithmic, Parametric and AI-Assisted Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that recognizes superior design of algorithmic artworks, parametric architectures, generative graphics, AI-Assisted illustrations, computational sculptures, procedural patterns, evolutionary installations, interactive experiences and more.
