Inogi R1
Inogi R1 is a miniaturized oxygen concentrator for medical use. The device delivers a pulse flow rate of up to 6 litres per minute. Inogi R1 separates oxygen from air with a molecular sieve, so no additives are needed, and reaches an oxygen concentration above 90 percent. A control system developed in house keeps operation stable at altitudes up to 6000 metres and at temperatures down to minus 30 degrees Celsius. With the battery, the unit measures 17.7 by 7.7 by 19.4 centimetres and weighs 1.8 kilograms. The molecular sieve and the battery can be replaced in one step.
Inogi R1 Miniaturized Oxygen Generator by Xiao Xu was recognized as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Inogi R1 Miniaturized Oxygen Generator won the Silver A' Design Award in Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design in 2023. The A' Medical Devices and Medical Equipment Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design accolade which rewards outstanding design of stethoscopes, wheelchairs, defibrillators, MRI machines, surgical instruments, prosthetics, ultrasound devices, pacemakers and more.
