G-Grip
G-Grip is a wireless shutter button for mobile phone photography. G-Grip combines a Bluetooth shutter release with an ergonomically shaped grip, so that a phone can be held and operated with one hand like a traditional camera. The grip is fixed to a phone case with adhesive plates and can be set in a landscape or portrait position. G-Grip works over a distance of ten metres and offers about twenty hours of battery life in use. The design answers the difficulty of holding and operating a phone at the same time.
G-Grip Mobile Phone Shutter Button by Greg Williams has been selected as an exceptional illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. G-Grip Mobile Phone Shutter Button earned the Iron A' Design Award in Camera and Photography Equipment Design in 2023. The A' Camera and Photography Equipment Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that rewards excellent design of cameras, lenses, tripods, flashes, light meters, camera bags, filters, photo editing software and more.
