Sile Binicilik Tesisi
Sile Binicilik Tesisi is an equestrian center designed in a contemporary architectural style near a forest in Istanbul. The complex covers 33,453 square meters and includes an indoor arena, an outdoor arena, a semi-open arena, an L-shaped stable block, housing and a cafeteria for horse keepers, and a veterinary clinic. All structures face the forest and are linked by a stone path. The layout follows the wind direction for the health of the horses. Natural stone, wood, glass and steel are the main materials. Large glazing and skylights bring daylight and natural ventilation into the stables.
Sile Binicilik Tesisi Equestrian Center by Equine Design Studio has been selected as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Sile Binicilik Tesisi Equestrian Center earned the Silver A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2023. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which honors superior design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
