The work adopts organic curve design, giving the wood a new 3D surface shape to improve its aesthetic feeling. Dynamic and static balance, aesthetic elements and functions are harmoniously integrated. Visual flow adds a sense of emptiness to the modern home space and conveys a unique and energetic feeling to users. Because of its unique aesthetics, this coffee table can be used as a sculpture or decoration as well as a side table.
YJ Side Table by Lai Jiebin was highlighted as a creative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award. YJ Side Table was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
