Mei Tao Wan
Mei Tao Wan is a corporate identity created for a cultural and creative industry park in Foshan, Guangdong Province. The logo is based on the letter M, the initial of the word beauty, and on the stepped architecture of the park. An elongated form recalls the ceramic chimneys of the local pottery industry. The house shape stands for an open and international art space. The overlapping structure refers to the gathering of talent. The identity is applied to business cards, cloth bags and posters, prepared by computer and printed for use.
Mei Tao Wan Corporate Identity by Chen Zilong was featured as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Mei Tao Wan Corporate Identity was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2023. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that celebrates outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
