Engo
Engo is a stackable battery enclosure designed for solar products and other energy storage uses. The casing is made of aluminum with a steel frame, plastic plates and rubber insulation. Chamfered vertical edges and recessed corners form a hidden cabling path, so wiring stays neat in both horizontal and vertical directions. Extended walls on the top and bottom cover the cables and allow safe stacking, while leaving room to connect the terminals. Three layers of insulation keep the battery pack at a stable working temperature.
Engo Smart Battery Enclosure by Vladimir Zagorac was highlighted as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Engo Smart Battery Enclosure earned the Iron A' Design Award in Energy Products, Projects and Devices Design in 2023. The A' Energy Products, Projects and Devices Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which honors exceptional design of solar panels, wind turbines, hydroelectric generators, geothermal systems, bioenergy converters, fuel cells, energy storage devices, smart grid systems and more.
