Zafiri Cava Deli
Zafiri Cava Deli is a retail shop interior with a total area of 217 square metres. The design recalls an old mansion in the centre of the island. Imposing arches decorate the storefront and frame the window. Inside, metal and wood are combined with aged earth tones, and leather furniture adds a traditional character. Metal staircases recall an old library, while three balconies offer a view of the store from above. The cellar is treated as a classic traditional cellar. Chandeliers reinforce the island style.
Zafiri Cava Deli Retail Shop by Konstantinos Gkagkos was recognized as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Zafiri Cava Deli Retail Shop won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
