Rings
Rings is a residential garden created for a private home in Ucles, Spain. The garden covers 268 square meters and is arranged around a central golden point, with a layout based on hidden mathematical proportions. Handwoven wicker pergolas and handmade clay-brick paving were produced by local artisans. LED lights set into the bricks and walls represent the Milky Way. The pool is lined with mother-of-pearl tiles and has a movable floor that can rise to form a stage. Palm trees, cypresses, olives and perennials complete the planting.
Rings Residential Garden by Fernando Pozuelo was recognized as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Rings Residential Garden won the Iron A' Design Award in Landscape Planning and Garden Design in 2023. The A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which rewards excellent design of landscape designs, public parks, residential gardens, urban plazas, campus designs, green roofs, waterfront developments, Eco-Parks, botanical gardens and more.
