Infinity Vessel
Infinity Vessel is a glass crown created as wearable art. Each crown is made to measure, so it fits only the head of one wearer. A 3D scan records the exact shape of the head, and the crown is then formed from mouth-blown glass using traditional methods. Every piece carries its own characteristics. The average size is 25 x 25 x 25 cm. Glass was chosen for its fragility and its strength, and for the way light passes through the material. The crown reflects the individuality of the person who wears it.
Infinity Vessel Crown by Sini Majuri was identified as an innovative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Infinity Vessel Crown won the Silver A' Design Award in Fine Arts and Art Installation Design in 2023. The A' Fine Arts and Art Installation Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design award that rewards outstanding design of sculptures, paintings, installations, photographs, drawings, mixed media works, ceramics, art objects, craftworks and more.
