Reflex
Reflex is a pendant lamp designed for general and accent lighting. The main structure is a circle divided in the middle and made of natural fabric that is both translucent and reflective. Soft, scattered light similar to light in a forest is produced. A metal ball inside holds two LED sources covered with frosted glass diffusers. The height is adjustable, and the fabric shade can be removed for cleaning. The ceiling cup uses magnetic fasteners, so no bolts remain visible. The shape and the type of light were selected through research with a focus group.
Reflex Pendant Lamp by Alexey Danilin has been highlighted as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Reflex Pendant Lamp was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2023. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design recognition program which rewards superior design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
