Focus7
Dedao Focus7 is an eReader created for readers who value the feel of a printed book. The frame is made of aluminium alloy shaped by CNC machining, and the anodized surface resists slipping, wear and corrosion. The form recalls a folded page, a familiar gesture used to pause reading. The 7-inch E Ink screen has anti-glare glass and an anti-fingerprint coating. The weight of 210 grams is close to that of a pocket book, and the balanced structure reduces wrist strain. The packaging is ink-free, plastic-free and made of degradable pulp.
Focus7 eReader by WIlliam Volcoff has been featured as an innovative illustration of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Focus7 eReader won the Bronze A' Design Award in Digital and Electronic Device Design in 2023.
