South Lake Villa
South Lake Villa is a private house interior design located in Guangzhou, China. The project covers over 1000 square meters and includes architecture, garden, interior, equipment and soft furnishings. Raw wood and marble are combined with metal and mirror to create a natural and elegant atmosphere. Retro furnishings add layers to the rooms. An open kitchen and a geometric countertop support daily use. A transparent roof brings natural light indoors. In the master bedroom, marble volumes separate functions, and floor-to-ceiling windows open to a terrace.
South Lake Villa Private House by Xu Liu has been featured as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. South Lake Villa Private House won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
