Moli Landscape
Moli Landscape is a restaurant interior located in a shopping mall in Shenyang, China. The design uses a high skip-floor layout and floor-to-ceiling lighting, allowing sunlight and air to flow freely through the space. The main facade is left blank, forming an open cave-like entrance. Guests walk along a winding stream amid shifting light and shadow, then ascend stairs to a raised dining room with wider views. Roof lines form large cantilevers that decline with a natural slope, recalling the feeling of sitting in the mountains. Materials include stainless steel, silver finishes and stone.
Moli Landscape Restaurant by Bo Zhou has been featured as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Moli Landscape Restaurant won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
