Sky Blue
Sky Blue is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor. The bottle has a smooth, streamlined form based on the Fibonacci spiral, which gives balanced proportions and makes the bottle easy to hold and open. The cap is shaped as an eye, used as a symbol of the product. An environmentally friendly glazing process gives the glass a delicate and smooth surface and reduces harm to the environment. The blue colour recalls the aurora. The box uses a five-in-one structure that strengthens protection against counterfeiting.
Sky Blue Alcoholic Beverage Packaging by Wen Liu was identified as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Sky Blue Alcoholic Beverage Packaging earned the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
