Minimalism Realm
Minimalism Realm is a residential interior design for a 92.5 square meter home in Taiwan. The layout includes two bedrooms, a living room and a dining room. A single light color is used throughout, combining nude tones with ivory white surfaces. The partition in the public area was removed to open the view and increase daylight, and the television wall is presented as a suspended cabinet. Arcs cover beams and columns and soften the corners. Materials include seamless flooring, latex paint and micro-cement paint. Concealed cabinets keep storage out of sight.
Minimalism Realm Residential by Chiyan Interior Design was highlighted as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Minimalism Realm Residential was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which recognizes excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
