Peace of Mind
Peace of Mind is a residential interior design for a 198 square meter home in Taiwan. The layout joins 132 square meters of indoor space with a 66 square meter terrace. The original four bedrooms were changed into three to create more open rooms. Creamy white and beige special lacquer covers the walls, and curved forms are used in cabinets, beams and doors to reduce sharp angles. Concealed doors keep the surfaces calm and continuous. Coffee tones, stainless steel panels, wood grain and mirrors add contrast. The aim is a quiet and restful home.
Peace of Mind Residential by Hsin-Ming Li was featured as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Peace of Mind Residential earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
