Lines Geometry
Lines Geometry is a residential interior design completed in Taiwan in 2021. Eco-friendly plaster is hand painted on the ceiling and walls, forming soft layers that resemble clouds. Straight and curved lines, arrays and geometric shapes create order and depth. The corridor works as an axis that divides the plan, while contrasting gray and white tones mark different areas. The television cabinet, the black iron shelf and the bookcases in red, yellow and blue are suspended and read as boxes of varied sizes. Storage and display functions are combined throughout the calm, simple space.
Lines Geometry Residential by Zong-Ying Chen was highlighted as an exceptional example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lines Geometry Residential earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2023. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
