Shuanggou Shengfang

Shuang Gou Sheng Fang is a packaging design for a Chinese liquor. The package holds two separate bottles. The small upper bottle contains liquor of 68 percent alcohol by volume, and the large lower bottle contains liquor of medium strength. Each bottle can be enjoyed alone, or the two liquors can be blended freely to create different tastes. Two covers made of ABS and PE are plated in rose gold and joined by a lock, which prevents leakage and makes opening easier. The box and the bottles are decorated with gem shapes inspired by the roofs of historic distilleries.

Shuanggou Shengfang Alcoholic Beverage Packaging by Wen Liu has been selected as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Shuanggou Shengfang Alcoholic Beverage Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2023. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
