Crescent
Crescent is a residential interior design for an apartment of 115 square meters in New Taipei City, Taiwan. The owner enjoys listening to music, so most acoustic equipment is embedded under a backlit ceiling arc. The arc forms a suspended crescent at the core of the living space and gives a warm glow for listening to music or watching films. Mineral paints continue from ceilings to floors, walls and doors, creating a continuum of storage. Marble paneling extends from the television wall into a floor inlay that holds the audio devices. A red pendant above the dining table adds contrast.
Crescent Residential Interior Design by Hsin Ting Weng has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Crescent Residential Interior Design received the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2022. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
