The Land of Rocks
The Land of Rocks is a temporary exhibition space created for a sintered stone brand at Guangzhou Design Week in 2020. The booth covers 180 square meters. A semi-enclosed and semi-open layout guides visitors along a varied route, while cut openings in the arranged walls allow the stone patterns to be seen from the outside and from the inside. A curved structure named Rock Flower stands at the center of the stage. The design makes the relationship between sintered stone, habitation and the city visible and easy to experience.
The Land of Rocks Temporary Exhibitions by Weixian He was highlighted as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. The Land of Rocks Temporary Exhibitions was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Trade Show Architecture, Interiors, and Exhibit Design in 2023. The A' Trade Show Architecture, Interiors, and Exhibit Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade which recognizes outstanding design of trade show interiors, exhibits, booths, pavilions, showrooms, kiosks, installations, Pop-Ups, displays and more.
